Refund policy

We recognize that buying fabric for your design project is an important investment. Fabric World sells only first quality products. All products come with a manufacturer's warranty.

Once you put in an order for by-the-yard fabric, we send your order to the manufacturer to custom cut the length of fabric you ordered. This fabric is custom cut just for you! Because fabric is cut to order, fabric orders cannot be returned to the manufacturer once an order has been processed. Therefore, Fabric World does not issue refunds once an order has been processed.

To make sure that you get exactly what you are looking for, we do not recommend buying fabric solely based on a computer image as actual colors will vary from your screen. We recommend buying fabric samples to confirm color, look, and feel. Note that fabric samples may not be cut from the same production run of the by-the-yard fabric you order. Samples may vary in color, texture and appearance because each run of fabric can vary slightly due to differences in dyes and other factors of the custom manufacturing process.

If you require an exact reference cut to approve, please contact our customer service team. Depending on the manufacturer, we may be able to arrange for you a Cutting For Approval (CFA) which is smaller than a sample and cut from the exact production run that your final by-the-yard order will be taken from.

We accept returns for products that are defective or damaged only within 30 days of purchase. In the rare case of a defective or damaged item, please contact our customer service team for further instructions.
